Outrageous comment, but somehow I'm not surprised.

Good ol' Pat.

He roughly said the same thing a while ago about the Typhoon.  Interesting approach to spreading The Good Word.  Wipe out a few Protestants, and the percentage of Catholics increases.  He must be God's bean counter.

Pat Robertson keeps getting closer to reaching the same level of looneyness as Fred Phelps.

The difference between both is that Phelps gathers media attention because controversy sells, and Robertson on the other hand owns a media network thanks to all the morons who keep sending him money.
Err, no.  What they need is a great turning to opium.  Or tobacco.  Or whatever crop it is that makes a shitty country into a suddenly-and-conspicuously-rich one.
I'm pretty sure Pat Robinson would like to see a huge percentage of catholics wiped out, not increased. Evangelists are hardly fans of catholicism.

Either way, he's an idiot. Kiind of like Palin - an idiot with a following. Pathetic and terrifying at the same time.

Pat Robertson is a right wing fundamental racist and doesn't deserve air time

The scary thing is, i'm sure there are ppl who think this.  I mean,he would not be on air if ppl were not watching him.  One crazy person is one thing, but the fact that he is presumably watched by many ppl is rly rly scary.

A lot of people who watch Pat Robertson are liberals, muslims, and gays who wonder what will he say next.

However, the truly scary thing is that there are people who keep sending him money.

I suggest a quick visit to GodHatesTheWorld.com or whatever it is, for some similar wisdom.
