Love of My Life Is Real, My Fairy Feller's Master-Stroking and Keep Fighting the Football Windows.
John hated Hot Space. Frederick's favourite singer was not Paul Rodgers. Roger didn't compose 'Innuendo.' 'Bohemian Rhapsody' hasn't got 180 vocal overdubs.

Actually, they were played by his brother, Kenny Mercury, who never wanted any part of the spotlight.

Over the field, don't listen to the others. They're just joking.

The keyboard solo's at the beginning and end of Bijou are considered as Freddie's masterpieces.
I don't know if you can consider his keyboarding on Procession as a solo, since it is an instrumentel song.
His piano solo on the live version of The show must go on, on Greatest Hits III is brilliant!
Forever, the piano version of Who wants to live forever was also very 'typical Freddie's style'
The intro on You're my best friend, where Freddie plays the electric piano is also a good example

I hope this helped?

Thank you Sebastian.

I am no dumb shit, I am familiar with Queen songs and Bulsara's backround.

Few keyboard solos like in Action This Day and Was It All Worth It just bothered my mind and I wanted to make sure, which were by Freddie and which by session musicians.

What about My Melancholy Blues?  I gather that is Freddie's piano work?

You're right, I forgot that one.

John plays electric piano on YMBF not Freddie, by the way

And in Forever, it's Brian playing...

By the way...

The Hammond organ contibutions in Liar, Now I'm Here, Under Pressure and Breakthru (synth?), were they done by Freddie? I heard there are speculations about it, but are there any reliable sources to confirm Freddie's involvement?

The only confirmed one is Wedding, which is by Dr Wig. As for the others, it could've been anybody - none of those parts is hard anyway.

Breakthru is a Roland D-50 synth doing an organ sound.

From what I've heard and red, Freddie hated playing keybored he always prefferd the grand pinao in which I think he is a underrated painoist.  he is fantastic.
As a keybored player, he didn't really do the much, in show must go on he did some parts, but most was Brian,
You're my best friend that was all Johns playing,
Forever that was Brian doing an Instumental version of Who wants to live forever,.
Proccession ther is no keybored on that cos if you remmeber it was the 70s Queen never used keyboreds bak in those days it was all Brian may on the guiter.
Bijiou is prob 1 of fredddies gd works as a keybored playing, staying power, body language, A winters tale, the mircale, play the game, where all freddie on keybored.

> From what I've heard and red, Freddie hated playing keybored

No: he hated e-pianos, but from 1979 onwards he played loads of synths. Not the same thing.

> he always prefferd the grand pinao in which I think he is a underrated painoist.

Indeed, but it doesn't mean he didn't play other keyboards. In fact, he was the band's chief synth player.

> As a keybored player, he didn't really do the much

Actually, he did play a lot, way more than the others.

> in show must go on he did some parts, but most was Brian,

No: he did no parts, all was Brian.

> You're my best friend that was all Johns playing,

Yes.

> Forever that was Brian doing an Instumental version of Who wants to live forever,.

Brian AND Spike Edney.

> Proccession ther is no keybored

Indeed.

> on that cos if you remmeber it was the 70s Queen never used keyboreds bak in those days

False:

Loads of songs from 1972 to 1979 had piano. Piano IS a keyboard.
Liar and Now I'm Here (1971-2 and 1973) had organ. Organ IS a keyboard.
Fairy Feller's Master Stroke (1973) had harpsichord. Harpsichord IS a keyboard.
Killer Queen, Leroy Brown and Rendezvous (1974 & 1975) had jangle piano. Jangle piano IS a keyboard.
Best Friend (1975) had e-piano. E-piano IS a keyboard.
Teo Torraitte (1976) had harmonium and e-piano. Harmonium and e-piano ARE keyboards.
Save Me and Sail Away Sweet Sister (1979) had synthesiser. Synthesiser IS a keyboard.

> it was all Brian may on the guiter.

No, as there were several exceptions: effects made on piano, organ, harpsichord, drums, gong, direct sampling, tape saturation, bass and, last but not least, effects done on guitar by other people. So it was not 'all' Brian May on guitar.

> Bijiou is prob 1 of fredddies gd works as a keybored

As are many others.

> staying power, body language, A winters tale, the mircale, play the game, where all freddie on keybored.

As are many others. However, the thread is about keyboard SOLOS.
