I was just trying to find out some more regarding these gigs that are supposed to be happening. On Taylor Hawkins site there is news of a new album hes done, featuring lots of special guests and a couple of 3 second clips..

So is RMT going to be a "Coat tail rider" then - Id have thought it should be the other way around!!

Actually, listening again it sounds like a Brian/Rog harmony.

That very much sounds like a classic Brian May tone, and you can hear him in the harmonies as well...

That does sound a bit like the Red Special, though with different production than normal (I assume so because Hawkins probably uses different producers than Bri & Rog) it's hard to tell.
I don't hear Roger in the vocal, but he could be in there for all I know. I'd be surprised if that wasn't Brian on the vocal though. He has a distinct voice.
