The outrageous costumes, dancers, sexuality, fake synth beats...

I'd rather listen to Lady Gaga than 90% else of what's out there. I can't stand the "Whitney / Beyonce" school of wailing away like a banshee over an overwrought love song, nor all the wannabe gangstas mush-mouthing through another boats n hoes epic.

Could not care less about her

I like her, because I find her challenging. All her low information signals are things that are reflexively associated with things that are not artistically substantial:  sex, synth pop, simplistic lyrics, aggressive image management. Yet running alongside that is a person who has paid dues, writes her own music, does multiple arrangements, genuinely has a voice, and is capable of material  like 'Speechless'.  Personally I think she's got all the raw ingredients to be a force.  She's creative, driven, talented, absolutely fearless and most importantly, she knows precisely what she's good at.  Time will tell.
