Innuendo - Religious Meaning

Hello everyone.  First of all, I would like this post to be serious, not a joke.  Well, I think the lyrics of Innuendo were mainly written by Freddie (who was a religious believer - Zoroastrianism), but there are several moments in the song when , apparently, God's existence is questioned "Our lives dictated by tradition, superstition, false religion"
and even asks for a divine signal
 "[i]If there's a God[/i] or any kind of justice under the sky
If there's a point if there's a reason to live or die
If there's an answer to the questions we feel bound to ask
[i]Show yourself - destroy our fears - release your mask[/i]"

What is your opinion? Is that the true meaning of these words? Do you think Freddie finally lost his faith in God? Do you know any Queen talks about this?

No.  Freddie wrote some of the lyrics, but I believe Roger wrote most of them and is responsible for completing them.  If I'm not mistaken, Roger is an athiest too.

You're clearly new here, no one here has an interesting opinion on anything.

I belive when they wrote "Our lives dictated by tradition, superstition, false religion"  it´s not about God, but the religion itself. All Queen members were (are) clever people and they know that religion and tradition is all about man and not to do with God´s will.

I don't think Freddie was religious at all.

I tend to think of the Innuendo album as "The Jesus Album".

Everytime I play it after track two I usually say "oh, Jesus" and put in a different Queen album.

And yes, MIH is what I call "The Jesus Christ Album" and usually happens during track one.

He was raised, until he was 7 as a Zorastrian, but I don't believe he had any religious faith personally. He may have been an agnostic, but he was not religious.
