i have the same 3 tape set...looking to swap for jap tour programme.
They weren't produced on DVDs. I still have all three NTSC tapes.
The nice part is you can find 'em on ebay pretty easily. You could have them transferred to a DVD. There are a couple of Ebay sellers that do this and sell 'em as DVDs.
