Skip's assumptions of "All male Queen fans are gay" is almost (if not on par) as STUPID as Treasure Moment saying that "they write catchy music." LMFAO!
BTW, why was KISS brought up on QUEENZONE of all places?
Because skip keeps bringing them up....

From your post it's obvious you know nothing about "Alive" and did not view the VH1 Classic Albums episode covering this lp. If you had you wouldn't be so ignorant on this topic.
Eddie Kramer has stated that everything but Ace Frehley's guitar was done in the studio. I'm inclined to believe the producer (who has nothing to gain/lose) over the band members who are in a position to tell lies in order to maintain a legacy.
Again you didn't see the VH1 Classic Albums - KISS Alive program which had Eddie Kramer on it, in a studio with the master tapes recorded for the Alive lp and giving examples of what he fixed.
Try to not be so ignorant next time before posting. It's obvious you know nothing about KISS.
BTW, Kramer had something to lose; he was passed on producing "KISS Symphony: Alive IV", because he did
a shitty job producing "Alive III".

I found this on Wikipedia: Concerning the overdubbing...
Overdubbing controversy
There has been considerable debate as to how much use was made of studio overdubs. Gene Simmons states in his autobiography Kiss and Make-Up that very little corrective work was done in the studio and that most of the studio time was devoted strictly to mixing down the multi-track recordings. He also emphasized that Kiss could not have done extensive overdubbing even if they had wanted to; thanks in no small part to the Johnny Carson album fiasco, the extremely meager budget allotted to the band simply would not allow it.
According to Dale Sherman's book Black Diamond and Goldmine magazine, in the early 1990s, Eddie Kramer stated there were a few overdubs to correct the most obvious mistakes: strings breaking or off-key notes, for instance. However, in recent years, Kramer has stated that the only original live recording on the album is Ace Frehley's guitar. In addition, on the recent VH1 special of the story of Kiss, the band members themselves make it more known that the album was severely doctored in the studio, and various musicians comment on the album in this special, revealing how disappointed they were to find out their heroes doctored the supposed "live" album in the studio.
Paul Stanley has noted that there's a bass mistake in the choruses of "C'mon and Love Me." He's also made comments that even though there have been live albums recorded later that make Alive! sound like it was recorded in a washroom, he has no qualms about it.
Casablanca Records was close to going bankrupt after KISS' third studio lp "Dressed To Kill". KISS' first three studio lps didn't sell many copies. Johnny Carson's comedy lp bombed. Casablanca didn't have enough money to put KISS back into the studio for their 4th studio record, so it was agreed that a concert lp was going to be released, because they wouldn't have much work to do on it, saving money on studio time, thus not putting the company further into debt.
BTW, that part about Frehley's guitar work is wrong. Kramer's original statement concerning Alive was that the only
thing that wasn't re-recorded in the studio was Peter Criss' drum parts, not Ace Frehley's guitar parts. Again, this is
false.

What was overdubbed in the studio was the crowd noise. KISS recorded the following shows for Alive:
Cobo Arena, Detroit, MI on May 16, 1975 (attendance: 12,039/capacity: 12,039)
Music Hall, Cleveland, OH, on June 21, 1975 (attendance: ?/capacity: 3,631)
Orpheum Theatre in Davenport, IA, on July 20, 1975 (two shows) (attendance (both shows): 4,673/capacity: 2,803)
Convention Center in Wildwood, NJ, on July 23, 1975 (attendance: ?/capacity: 2,200)
1 arena show and 4 theater shows. Most of Alive is from the arena show, so to make the crowd noise consistent
throughout the lp the recorded crowd noise from Detroit was looped over any of the songs from the theater shows.

yes, Freddie's songwriting on Jazz was very strong. Mustapha is awsome....Jazz is queens least consistent album of the first 8, but it's way better and more consistant than anything after that. Except for maybe Innuendo.
Actually, among Queen's post-The Game albums, I think that their best was actually MIH. While Innuendo has some amazing stuff, it's too cold for my liking.
Zebonka12 wrote: "I don't understand the need for homophobia here but whatever floats your boat." I don't understand it either.
Skip, I don't often attack people over the internet, but with you I'll make an exception. You can love Kiss and hate Queen as much as you want, but if you bring up Freddie's homosexuality in an attack against Queen, then you are nothing but a fucking prick. If you are so insecure in your love of Kiss that you would resort to homophobia, well, then I don't think that Brian, Roger and John would want you as a 'fan.'
Queen's my second favorite band, so save your speech.
My previous statement was a "generalization" of Queen fans just like Sheer Ass Neck's post concerning KISS fans.
I couldn't care less whether Queen is you second favourite band or not. If you are going to be homophobic, which you are, then I will absolutely not save my speech.
You are a disgusting individual. You imply that all male Queen fans are gay which is false of course but also irrelevent. Who cares what the sexuality of male Queen fans is? That's like saying that all Jay-Z fans are black, as if there's something wrong with being black. But, no, you obviously imagine it to be some kind of slur which suggest that you're homophobic, and then you continue to make repulsive comments about it (you're still doing so now) which proves that you are a disgusting homophobe.
I don't know what your problem with homosexuality is, perhaps some guy came on you too strongly, but it really shows what a fucking arsehole you are. It also makes me wonder, as a bi woman, why you would be fans of a group which had a gay frontman, if you hate gays so much!

I don't know if he's funny, but he is certainly incredibly annoying, and his constant homophobia suggests to me he is one of three things;
1)Skip is an idiot who knows that he doesn't have a leg to stand on in his arguments on Kiss and so has to resort to homophobia so as to distract people from his ignorance.
2)Skip is simply an unpleasant homophobic arsehole who obviously doesn't spend much time in social settings, and shouldn't be allowed to.
3)Skip is playing us all for fools. His homophobia and constant disgusting comments are simply a joke.

Just be careful, sweetie. Always back against the wall. I got a feeling that you don't wanna get to know the MEAT CIGAR.
Bye, beautiful.
Be careful, we homosexual Queen fans are very agressive.

I love how treasure moment is trying to make himself relevant again,
not that he was relevant in the first place,
but on the subject of Kiss v/ Queen, there's no contests between the two, Queen could kick their uncreative asses any day.
