What a find! (and question?)

Today my wife and I went to our local flea market and I came across a
booth that had a box of various 7" singles. I dug through two boxes and
finally at the bottom of the last box was... Queen! the Elektra 7"
single of Bohemian Rhapsody with I'm In Love With My Car as the B-side.
The best thing about this is that it only cost me 1 US dollar!



I do have a question about this 7" my label is slightly different than the one on QueenPedia. So, I'm wondering what the difference is?

Ok, stupid me. I just seen on the queenpedia site that there are 3 label variations. Although what is the there letters on the right side of the label under the catalog number? Mine is different that the ones posted on queenpedia.

Is there a Queen record price guide online any more?

Going to variety of Queen labels in USA is a hard field. The letters CTH on your disc stand for the pressing plant: Columbia, Terre Haute. The disc itself is not rare.

Other abbreviations that you'll find on Queen records are PRC (Philips Recording Corp), CSM (Columbia, Santa Maria) and some others.

You'll probably will have noticed that there are butterfly labels, caterpillar labels, red Elektra labels? Most of them with different positions of the text...

I knew that this wasn't rare but I thought that it was awesome that I only paid 1 us dollar for it.
