1. moved from the serious forum
2. Holly is male - I hope I am not telling a secret :-)
3. I did not read the post completely, so if Queen came up I apologize for not having moved it to the general forum
Just a quick question. why do you move some posts, like this, but not others, like the 5 or 6 treasure moment threads on the general queen discussion boards that have nothing to do with queen?

Why one should be expected to be classy or elegant just because they have a cunt is beyond me.

This is the best and funniest thing i've heard in a very very very long time. I think it will be one of those remarks that will make me smile when i remember it for a very long time.

Ha! I should know better, but I'm laughing too. Zeb, you know most women wouldn't refer to theirs as that, don't you? Jeez that word is gross!

I did not see them. I usually focus my attention on the sharing forum and the serious forum. I hope to have soon more time to read more of the pearls of wisdom offered on the notice board:-) And to share something new.

Too many threads and not enough time, sounds like this forum needs a modorator or two too tackle it all...

I do see your point Zebonka, but I do agree with Crazy LT. Its just plain crude and it sounds degrading.

I never knew that old washer women used bad language. That is disturbing to imagine. "Oh, s***! Another grass stain!" "F***! Mustard!" "Why do these people insist on wearing white clothing?! God D*** it! F***!"
But in any case, using the word "classy", I think, is just not ... you know.

... Of course, the thread title is a question... maybe it is supposed to read more like is it classy or is it elegant etc etc. In which case it is hard to answer... like Donna, i'm not really a fan of the word classy, but i don't know that i'd describe swearing as elegant exactly, elequant maybe, but not always elegant. So kind of hard to answer.

I think the vernacular is a really interesting part of language, that can be used to great effect.
It's all about who, when and how they say it.
Personally the word c**t from a proper Lady's mouth would just change the effect of the word (which would be striking) not the lady's status.

Put it this way - I haven't met many who haven't used that word. I've been blessed to have known people who don't give a fig about whether words are 'gross' or not, it definitely fosters a more relaxed atmosphere.

Did we ever get an answer to this question? I would say yes it is classy. For example, Princess Ann swears like a 20 quid whore. Apparently when she appeared on A Question of Sport, half of it was unusable because she kept referring to Emlyn Hughes as a "fucking pleb".
