Life has never been the same since 2005.
After a serious accident, and family illnesses - I have not been able to keep abreast (or iterested) in the latest developments in the Queen-world.
Looking back over my personal notes, I see my 'Ultimate Collection' threads died in 2005.
I was hoping someone else would take up the mantle, but I guess that was the lazy way out.
Now is the time to correct that.
Forget the archives for now - what is actually out there can be verified and documented.
I need as much info as possible.
Product releases, concert dates, collaborations, TV appearances, Pop Factors, International appearances, Interviews, cover versions etc...
(You know the format).
Any data (however obvious) is welcome, and better to have that info collated two or three times - than not at all.
No credit taken for the work of others - so all contributions acknowledged.
This is what I hope you want - so please, please, please help.
Many personal thanks
John S. Stuart

What is this about John? Can you explain for those of us who are newish?

I need to update the Ultimate Collection threads to take into account the period between 2005 - 2010.
(Or any significant recent developments which shed light on the previous record - eg: Sun City soundboard)
If anyone is unfamiliar with these ultimate checklists - I am sure they can read these previous contributions using the search button.
I must confess, after re-reading Thistleboy's mail - he is correct in that we should have a list of what is known to exist within the Queen archives.
Unfortunately, we can not do that.
Therefore, the ultimate collection really is the fan-orientated next best thing.
The idea is to catalogue all verifiable releases, leaked demos, acetates, collaborations, covers etc, etc, so that we as a community have to hand the "Ultimate Collector's Guide" - hence the title "Ultimate Collection".
As stated above - any data - however obvious (Live dates, London Palladium, Nelson Mandella, Cosmos Rocks, Unblinking eye, interviews) welcome.

I can help you with the live concert, including some professional bootlegs if it's any help

Fantastic - that's the ticket.
Remember this is something I hope we all benefit from, so the more contributions - the better.

The 'Ultimate Collections' were my bible when I was a (semi) serious collector.
John, would you like to come over to my house this Sunday for tea and sandwiches?
I've made a Victoria sponge cake.

No talking shop, though!

I'm bored with all the beastliness and caddish behaviour.... and I'm guilty of a bit too.

GB
Feel free to use anything you'd like from my website.
For live material, how detailed do you want to get? Do you want to stick only to professional/soundboard recordings of shows?

I have the same question Bob has.
For unofficial live recordings from 2005-2010 Queenconcerts.com is a good starting point.
I can add some info to that if you are interested.
