It is the French version you are after, I did some digging and the Dutch version has the UK cover. eil.com has a listing for it but it is out of stock: http://eil.com/shop/moreinfo.asp?catalogid=79575
I believe the US cd also has the clown cover. eBay is always worth a try, but it can take a long time to come up.
Good luck

The US version also has the clown, both the CD single and the Cassingle, and they can be found every now and then on eBay at a fraction of the price of the French one.
I once bid on the cassette and I think it went for less than $10. I waited until the last second but the other user's highest bid was higher than mine. :S

thank you guys for your time and effort!
i already have the us version with the clown sleeve. so if anybody knows where to purchase the french edition of headlong or if anybody got it...i'm a serious collector and would pay a fine amount of money.

axl
The US Version? Are we talking about the promo CD (PRCD-8262-2)? That's the only US one I know of and it did not contain Mad The Swine. Hollywood wasn't promoting too many other releases. PRCD-8263 was Queen Rocks V1.
Of course, there were two US Cassingles, the promo one and the Hollywood standard one.

Neal Matumba, lol - I supplied him with a LOT of Queen stuff a few months ago. It was stuff I couldn't get shot of, even on ebay, so I sold to him in bulk....and lo! He manages to sell it. Yep, he's good - and very trustworthy, I've found.

Excuse me for being so ignorant here, but what is so special about the French single?

There are several excellent sellers are eBay who seem to be parting with thier collections right now. I could also recommend donchristbal and mattjlocke who both have very impressive collections.

@microwave:
i got a hold of every cd single by this band, each and every standard edition, limited edition, promo edition. the one and only cd single that i don't call my own is this french edition of headlong. to this day it even remains unseen by me. not once have i seen this except for pix on the internet. so it's a collector's thing i guess. furthermore i really dig the artwork for that single. Thanks, Axl. I was just wondering if there was a different track listing or a different B-Side or something.
That's quite a feat, by the way.
