- Go to the first post in the topic
- Click the "Edit" icon
- Change the title printed in the "Subject:" box
- Click "Post Message"

As soon as a new post is made, the title should change to what you edited it to say.

Yes. Don't extend your ISP contract. But that advice is for you alone.
