Greatest hits 1 & 2 gold discs..

A few year back i purchased a double fat style cased Queen cd at a car boot sale near me..its in good condition and the discs are gold..both sides.with parlaphone and made in austria on them..another guy kept hassling me to let him have it but i wanted to keep it..
after searching for information about my find ..i dont seem to have found out much..
Can anyone help me ?..is it an import, how many released etc,was it a good find ?.

The fat case Queen gold (hits I & II) were released worldwide in a parlphone box with silver pressed cd's. Except for Austria and Germany the are basicly the same, except for the sticker on the front of slipcase : "limited edition gold discs" and indeed instead of silver discs , these discs are gold. Not many were made.

The worth for the plain silver are about euro 20,00 for a mint. The golden exceeds the euro 100,00

So you hold real gold in your hands!
