I just recently came across the fact that Brian provided the foreward in the book Van Halen 101.

I don't see the foreword...?

I can't find the prologue either. I don't think you can see it on the amazon sample.

go to 'search inside this book' and type brian may. i will take you to the second page of the foreward, and then you can use the back arrow to read the first page. nothing special really -- just a quick tribute and a few comments about star fleet.

did I pass the initiation microwave? when do I get my paddling?

If you look at the full search list, 2 of the BM references in the book go back to the foreword, and the rest are within lists of guitar players (one of them a full page).
