Help please! What do you know about Anita Dobson?

i think she craved more fame with a rock star than an acting vocation.
2nd rate actress in an 3rd rate soap..
she was in a soap called eastenders.he was a rock star in a supergroup..
they got together in the perm salon of some hairdresser in london...
and they never looked back..................
she had a slight hit with..anyone can fall in love(eastenders theme).
he had  bigger hits with...........queen+paul rodgers........ and queen?.
the serious answer is....a brit actress who was a star on the above show.a minor music star,and a small time actress who married a rock star.
but..they seem happy.so good luck to them.

The only thing I know about her is that she is butt ugly.
And a terrible singer too.

You don't really need to know anything about her other than the fact that she's a horrible fucking bitch.  Last time I saw her, she pretended not to know me.

Well what I know??  well she was really fit in the '80's ,  she was once voted "Rear of the Year" & I have to agree she did have a nice ass in tight Jeans.  But now, 20 years+ on things have gone south a lot!!!!  & she looks what she is, an 60+ years old actress.   But Brian loves her & I suppose Anita loves Brian( that's why they are still together after Brian cheated on her. Love!!! nothing to do with money!!!)

I know Brian was boning her while he was still with his other wife, what was her name? Christy? Brian was givin' Anita the old bone while writing songs for her solo album at the same time.

I'll never forget the time Brian and Anita denied the affair during an interview and she was rubbing his nipples while answering the questions. Talk about scary, man!

And then, when the affair really came to public knowledge, Brian wrote 'Too Much Love Will Kill You', to gain some sympathy (oh, pity me, I have too much love!). Freddie was a friend of Christy (or whatever her name was, hawhawhaw), and decided to throw the song under the bridge and to forget about it. It had absolutely nothing to do with the royalties. That's just so the public doesn't know the truth.

I always thought her rear looked sort of average - just average proportions - not like Jennifer Lopez or anything.  So I don't see why she would win a contest for that particular body part.  But I do remember a scene in EastEnders when she was walking down the sidewalk in a tight skirt and somebody whistled.  Maybe that is how it got popular as an idea.  EastEnders is shown here on public TV but it is 7 years delayed (they show two episodes each Saturday morning).  Now the plot is about Kat and Alfie and Phil and that girl who was an undercover cop.  It is a good show and the writing is really good (I think) compared to the stuff on the soaps here.  For example, General Hospital consists of all the characters rotating in and out of the hospital:  gun shot wounds, grave illnesses, accidents, complicated pregnancies.  So 100 percent of the characters have to be either violent, dumb, very unlucky, or clumsy.  And yet that is the best soap here.  So, I say, it is probably a big deal to be considered a lead actress on EastEnders.



Anyway, she really stole the scenes on that show and so I wouldn't call her a second rate actress, but rather a very good actress.  I think a big part of being a good actress is actually bringing something to the character that the average person doesn't have - a charm that is unique.  And that she had.
