Hey Brenski-

Why'd you edit your posts out?  I was really hoping that you could explain how water travels "backwards" through the gills.

This is another type of chicken or egg question.  You can argue until the cows come home.

The chicken came first, because chickens lay eggs.  Can't have an egg not laid by a chicken.

Eggs came first. Reptiles laid eggs many millions of years ago long before the first chicken on earth said 'tock'.
Out of reptiles birds evolved.

For catholics it's much easier: Forget evolution. God created eggs and chicken on the same moment.

BTW. My cow came home yesterday. She had another question: What came first, cows or milk?

I don't believe in evolution.  Besides we don't really know how long chickens have been on earth.

Cows came first :)
