I just got the Freddie Mercury 70's leather 7" figurine. I heard that this figurine is rare so my question is should I leave it in the package or take it out to display it? I have the Freddie wembley 7" figurine and have taken that one out already but sure about doing the same to the 70's one.

Take it out carefully but KEEP THE BOX. I think its pretty good if not accurate, I never saw footage in the leather era in his adidas boxing boots until around 84, i think he wore ballet shoes in the leather period in that biker garb. Shame there isnt a group set like KISS and Metallica have. I got the Brian May Rock Iconz for a bargian on play.com for £18, it normally sell for around £70.

Take it out of the box and have a death match between 80s Fred and 70s Fred. This will be a chance to settle, once and for all, which era was best. Make sure the winner dismembers the corpse of the vanquished Fred though, otherwise the contest is null and void.

The fact that it comes with a champagne glass and a hairy chest (I wanna ask, and I don't wanna ask) has virtually guaranteed that I will laugh at least 47 times today.
