What ever happened to the official release of Hammersmith odeon  christmas 1975?
Joyful the sound

I suppose wanting to work as backing band for an American Idol loser is more important.
John hated Hot Space. Frederick's favourite singer was not Paul Rodgers. Roger didn't compose 'Innuendo.' 'Bohemian Rhapsody' hasn't got 180 vocal overdubs.

Man you scared me. I clicked this because I thought you know the correct date :-)

Unfortunately as far as I know the official date was not given, but I think it's logical to assume that it will be out this Christmas (let's hope)

Well the Boston 76 bootleg recently has put my mind off of it for now.  Google it. Its not hard to find. bigozine2.com/roio/?p=373
Its sound so good in my car or home with a good sound system. Amazing set list. Flick of the wrist, lazing a sunday are my favorites.

COMING BACK ON TOPIC.....!!!!

Greg Brooks confirmed at convention this weekend that it was "imminent".
It was delayed because of plans to include a documentary which has since fallen through.
He also confirmed that there is NO video footage recorded by the BBC after transmission ceased :(

Hopefully it will be a DVD/CD release similar to Queen Rocks Montreal. Be nice if they took this seriously and produced a proper historical booklet written by someone with some talent and knowledge. Bonus material is a must these days: I can't imagine they'll release a "clean" DVD as you put it. But no doubt it'll be something inappropriate and anachronistic, like some more Live Aid footage :O

bonus footage will be interview with brian and roger by bob harris, brian said last year that they did an interview with bob for the hammy dvd release. i certainly hope there will be some more bonus features than that
