I will remaster Inglewood 1980 for everybody! I will get the tempo and key back to its original form (using the Oakland 1980 bootleg as a guide), and EQ it a bit! I'll also "duo-phonic" it (make a "fake" stereo by putting two mono tracks in the L/R speakers and applying some settings to get it in "stereo."

Well it's In Mono originally. How do I get it in 5.1?

hmmmmmm
1. make 6 copies of your record on CD
2. use 6 different CD  player with only one box
3. place the 6 CD player in such a way like a surround system
4. start all at the same time

Wow 5,1 sound…

Why would you want to make a bad-sounding mono recording into 5.1, or even stereo?  It's just an artificial improvement.

I'm all for the speed correction, though.  I still don't have a decent version of that show.

All right: Here's the next question:
I'm definitely going to fix the tempo and pitch, and EQ the concert.

But should I keep it "Mono" or "Duo-phonic" the sound?
I'd keep it mono.

Fake stereo isn't real stereo.  You're just messing with a tape to create an effect that isn't actually there.  It won't make it any better or worse - just different.

maybe post a sample song with the "duo-phonic" effect and see what people think of it, most of the time for the effect you get, its not worth wasting time faking stereo.

I'll keep it mono.
