John Deacon Question

This is one for the statisticians out there. The shy, retiring Deacy doesn't look like the kind of guy who practises a lot; therefore his fingers must get "soft". Maybe in his playing days he didn't bother practising either and hoped it'll be alright on the night. My question is this. On an average night, how many times would John lick his fingers (probably because they were sore) at a Queen concert?

The answer is 42, unless it's not.  In that case, it's the inverse of the distance to the nearest KFC in metres, multiplied by the elapsed time of the show in seconds. Positively correlated with the relative manliness (or not) of Freddie's footwear.
