A few days ago I bought a bootleg with a number of demos in excellent quality. I put these tracks through AudioChecker and they came out lossless, so I thought I would upload for everyone to enjoy. These certainly are excellent quality and anyone who has MP3s from YouTube or alike will find them to be a significant upgrade.

I'll share the rest of the lossless demos from this CD in the future. I hope you enjoy as much as I did,

Very much the same quality. All but one are lossless and all are really clear, in same cases it's like listening to different tracks.

Out of curiosity, if I played the mp3 sourced versions of these tracks on my CD player and recorded them on my PC via analogue input, would they show up in audiochecker as lossless?

Precisely. Hence why this bootleg is nothing to write home about.

Hey Chris, thanks for this very nice share, but...
I'm afraid I have to agree, this looks like an mp3 recorded through something to wav.
I'm checking right now the spectrum analysis of Action This Day and it has frequencies up to 16kHz (what is typical for mp3s), than a huge "gap" and a "thick line" in the 20kHz area. Can any expert tell me what it can be ?
But anyway, it's very nice quality

Hmmm. I thought i detected a bit of mp3 sibilance on "Action"...
Still, as Pittrek says they do sound good...
There seems to be a bit more stereo seperation on them than my old versions.

Sorry, I had no idea these were MP3 sourced. I'm no expert and I tend to trust AudioChecker on these matters. At least I don't need to bother to upload the rest now.

[/QUOTE]The only copies I have of the other tracks are tinny MP3's, I'm sure the rest of the disc is better than what I have by a long shot.

Why ? As I said before, they are in much better quality than the mp3s that were shared here. Feel free to continue uploading :-)
