Queen: The Ultimate Illustrated History of the Crown Kings of Rock UK/US

Amazon UK currently has 2 versions of this book listed. One is an 'annotated' US version and the other which appears to be the original UK version. Both are published October 2009. Anybody have both copies and able to advise what the differece is - appart from the fact that the 'annotated' version is half the price!! Thanks.

I appear to have the US Annotated edition. Above the ISBN-13: 978-0760337196 it reads

there are also some other notes below this relating to certain pages.

I got this book and it is outstanding!    Everyone should get this!   (I'm in the U.S. of A. but can't tell you the differences in the two releases.)    

 It covers all 16 studio l.p.s by Queen...that would include both the "Flash Gordon" soundtrack and "The Comsos Rocks" for those of you counting as well as live releases.   

I have only skimmed it thus far to be honest but I think while it does cover solo projects and releases it could cover both them and compilations and re-releases better.   

While it includes the d.v.d. releases it totally leaves off all video tape releases!    Wow Queen were major in releasing home videos in the 1980's and 1990's so that is a shock to me.   

Otherwise what I have seen so far is outstanding!
