Very funny. I have to say though, the head of publishing is a fool:
' “We're mortified that this has become an issue of any kind and why anyone would be offended, we don't know,” he told The Sydney Morning Herald.
“We've said to bookstores that if anyone is small-minded enough to complain about this ... silly mistake, we will happily replace (the book) for them.” '
Even though this was a mistake, is he really surprised that some people might be offended? It's not about being small-minded, it's about not wanting to own a cookbook that instructs you to kill black people. As I said, it was an an accident, and a funny one at that, but they had no choice but to replace the book.
