Are Brian and James May (from Top Gear) brothers?

Well, are they? I've heard different stories, but I'm a bit sceptical about it.
Do any of you know - for sure - if they are brothers or not? :)

I think you might be getting your wires crossed,  Brian's Son is called James.

Well, maybe. I know he has a son by that name, but I also heard that James May should be his brother. If you google both names, you will see what I mean. I know it doesn't sound very likely, but I just wanted to see if anyone knew for sure...

That is a good question, but Brian is an only child (and if they were they'de be about 15 years apart) I also LOVE Top Gear, and that would be pretty cool if they were,though...

they do have the same nose.. odd.

James ('Jimmy') May from Top Gear is actually Brian's son

They are proberbly not brothers.

they are brothers but brian does not like to talk about it, to the extent that he will say they are not brothers.

How did you find out?

i recieved mail from the woman that checks his letters and soapbox, he did not wish to talk direct of it (but was very respecting of my question) and she cleared it up for me

Andreas Mercury, I don't think that is possible. Brian is an only child, and I think James May's parents are still alive.
