It is within driving distance for most people in the eastern half of the US. The one time I recall that the convention was held in Dallas Texas, the attendance was about 1/3 of what it was the previous year in Cleveland.

Grandkid!!! Are you trying to get punched!! :) I'll have you know the eldest CHILD just turned 12!! Anthony will be 7 in July. Can you believe it? I sure can't!
Anyway, Detroit is too far, Cleveland I might have sucked it up and gone but D-town.....blah.
Are you flying to Detroit? If you lay over in Cincy you better let me know. I'm sure flying out of ATL you won't have a layover but just in case.
