I have recently purchased this and its very good but i have a question perhaps somebody could answer
Whilst Roger is singing These are the days of our lives there is a video on the stage of the band in their early days having some sort of food tasting session or a picnic of some sorts. Could anybody know or give me some more info on that please?
Also was good to see that Roger has a lot of confidence in his singing abilties to do Tatdool and Radio Gaga pretty much by himself he has a very husky voice and i quite like it
Also liked Paul's way of singing, he seemed more comfortable singing his own songs than Queen songs but i still liked it and he wasnt trying to sing like Freddie either

From memory (because I havent watched that DVD in years now) the clip comes from their tour in Japan 75. It can be found on the Magic Years video, amongst others.

Yes it was Japan '75. The stills were also issued with the fan club newsletter back in '75.

Ironically Roger once again forgot the lyrics to TATDOOL, and it was overdubbed for the DVD....

on which part of the song did he forget?

I can't remember - sometime around the 2 minute mark i think. If you listen to the CD, I think you can just about tell the difference in sound quality.

Not a fan of the dvd....Paul sounds good on his own songs...don't like him singing queen. the whole show looks and sounds forced. The only moments I remember and still like are mostly without Mr. rodgers. He's still one of the best of all time, but just not with brian and roger. My only memorable moments are the drum solo (forgot the name of it) very awsome stuff from roger....last horizon, great stuff from brian. Middle of Bo rhap.....Freddie on the screen was cool when seen live. Say it's not true was nice...much better than the cosmo's version. The show had it's moments for sure, but i don't watch or listen to the whole Queen + thing anymore. never was a big fan of it anyway.
