Nobody speaking from a surfeit of emotion and righteousness ever does themselves any favours.  His heart and intentions and perhaps even conclusions are firmly in the right place, but the fact that a man as brilliant, articulate and media savvy as he has not once but twice in recent weeks had to back pedal, defend and clarify public remarks is very telling.  He needs an internal censor or an intervention in a big way right now in my opinion, because whether people are willing to say it out loud or not, he's harming his reputation.  There are many of course whose respect for him has only grown from this, but I have to believe there are as many who can't quite belive what they're hearing.  His self proclaimed long time habit of staying up all night doesn't help either.   Middle of the night posts look weird, and there is less likely to be others around to bouce things off off etc.

You should really talk nice to the young whipper snappers on Queenzone. You were once one. Obviously using words like that to a 13 year old isn't the mature thing to do. I think you need to grow up a bit. I'm sure there's others who'd agree with my statement.
