Colbert would have loved being in the Baltimore suburb of Towson on Saturday. WNST had a Soccer Festival....3000 for the whole day, 1000-1500 for the UK-USA game, at their Pavillion. Wonderful to sit in a lawn chair and share it with so many. We all stood and sang the National Anthem. We all stood, and some of us sang the UK anthem (thanks to a certain band who always played that tape at the end of a concert).
Hope both the UK and USA advance.
Just wish they'd can those frickin vuvuzelas. It's like have sakadas here. After a goal or a great stop is one thing, but the constant drone has the volume on my TV off.
