Hi, i`ve just uploaded some photos to flickr that i took at Queens last concert at Knebworth in 86. Had them in an album for 24 years and only just got round to scanning them today. If you are interested you can see them here >>> http://www.flickr.com/photos/madmarkmt01/sets/72157624129648507/ They are not brilliant quality coz i was scared of having my camera taken from me, so i was taking them very quickly, but they do capture the atmosphere of the best day ever. Hope you like them and as far as i can find on the internet, there aren`t many from this concert around.
Excellent stuff... the pictures of the opening bands are a first! Thanks for capturing and sharing this bit of history.
Can you please send me an email through my website? I've added your pictures (hope you don't mind), and I'd like to credit you properly.

Yeah, indeed fantastic stuff. There's even a pic of the "road on the roof".

These pictures are great!!! I was there!!! & I remember the dreaded bottle fight, ouch!!! I was quite close to the front & when the bottles started flying, we threw back & then they threw again & so on. All I can say is the high ground won. I remember standing on top of about 12" of plastic bottles pilled up, for the rest of the day. Just as well really, because I'm only 5' 8" the extra 12" made me a giant. Fond memories. The guy up on the roof with the inflatable guitar, I forgot about that, great to jog the old grey matter!!! Thanks!!!!!

Thanks for all the comments, i had the best day at Knebworth, shame there were no Digital cameras back then, i would have taken hundreds of photos :) It got very messy with all the bottles flying but luckily the toilet rolls got thrown from the back to the front first ha ha so had something to wipe down with. I remember Harvey Goldsmith having to come on stage to calm us down while Belouis som was on, because of all the bottles being thrown at them and one of the poor backing singers holding what looked like a washing bowl over her head for protection. I still cant believe there is no footage of the Knebworth concert (apart from what is on the documentary trilogy) as it was the biggest and last of the tour and Freddie had saved his voice at Wembly especially for Knebworth. I still have the Program somewhere too, must dig it out soon. Cheers Mark
