^yep, for all the rock and roll antics that Johnny Rotten did in the 70's he is gonna be best remembered now for calling ant and dec cunts live on tv,being pecked by emu's in a jungle and running through a field holding a tub of butter being chased by a cow. Who said Punk was dead...? Sid would be turning in his grave over Johnny selling out for the money if he wasnt still being piped through the air conditioning ducts at Heathrow airport :-p

But thats the thing Jon, Lydon has never hidden the fact that he does things these days for money. He said recently if that it hadnt been for those buttter ads he does, which I also find funny, PIL would never have reformed. Even back in the day they took EMI's £4,000,000 off them because they could. Cracking bit of business that.

Can't stand punk bands. I like the idea of them. The philosophy is sound. But the bands themselves suck. They don't realise, for one thing, that people had already done the punk thing, and lived that ideal 10-15 years previously, and at the same time they'd actually managed to make GOOD music. Not caring what people think of your art is admirable. Not caring about what you're doing is just stupid.
