What's with the lightning bolt on the headstock?

Is that a lightning bolt?  I'm not sure, but that is one ugly guitar...

The lightening bolt was on the back of Freddie's/Flash's Flash t-shirt. Think it might also be in the sleevenotes too.

The lightning bolt is part of the Flash logo ( its located behind Jupiter. Also I think in the movie when Ming decided to play around with the destruction of Earth, he used lightning first.
