This is the best they could do?  Really?  Brian May, with the time and resources to pretty much do anything he wants, decides to take up the cause of animals who can't defend themselves, and the Daily Mail can only comment on the color of his hair?  Sheesh.  The jackasses freakin' buried the lead!  Rock on, Brian.  You're one of the good guys.

Is the "Daily Mail" that bad over there? Is that like our version of "The National Enquirer"?

brian is a god like icon, somebody who's music helped me through those difficult teen years, and as a campaigner against these barbaric and cruel, needless so called sports[{not that as a sportsman myself can find any relation between killing defenceless animals for fun and sport} he enrages torie scum, whom read the daily mail. now by writing such articles just goes to show that 1. how narrow minded these people are. 2. that brian has hit a raw nerve, as deep down they know he's correct in what he is saying, so now you have riled the plastic sportsman, the save me campaign is showing to have affect, don't give them any let up as we have the cruel aristocratic toffs who don't live in the real world on the run. articles such as these only aim to attack people such as brian to take the heat off themselves, as they know once this co alition falls apart their hunting days are over.

If he did anything musically interesting, maybe we'd be talking about that instead of the colur of his hair.

As for the animal rights stuff, well good luck to him, but it's not why I became a Queen fan and frankly I really don't give a hoot about it.

When it comes to the animal rights stuff I think the god like icon hits a raw nerve with anybody who gets annoyed by idealogical intransigence, egomaniacal rants, hypocrisy, gratuitous rudeness and the occassional bout of illogic.  It's truly a shame because he is just so bloody skilled at communicating and inspiring affection and respect when he's talking about his music or just about anything else he isn't emotionally riled by.  Truly gifted, and it just all goes to hell when he's trying to communicate about something that probably matters to him as much as anything does.
