Looking for a good live version of Tie your Mother Down

So I know the studio version, but if I can I'd love to get my hands on a live version that's at least as good as, if not better. Ideally it'd be a blistering version in which Freddie's vocals are terrific, and don't get drowned out by the music. Boston in '77 has a high quality recording, as does Boston and Montreal in '78. Anyone have any other favorites? BTW this is my first post here, hope I haven't made any faux pas.

My personal favourites are Knebworth 86 , Wembley 86, and Hammersmith Odeon 79

My favorite is probably from Return of the Champions. TYMD was IMO one of the very few songs which Paul actually sang better than Freddy.

Try some versions from the Crazy Tour (Like Hammy 1979)!

Another awesome version would be the first Leiden concert on the Magic Tour.

I agree with Pim.
Some songs where sung better than Freddie.
Like We Are The Champions for Instance, Fat Bottomed Girls and yes in deed Tie Your Mother Down.
How many times did freddie had to lower some notes?, how many times did paul had to do that?.

How shot was freddie`s voice when he was 39/40?, How shot was paul`s voice in the last 08 tour?.
IF ANY ONE WANTS MY MSN ITS TOPGEAR1990@HOTMAIL.COM I love cool edit pro. Working on a tribute cd and need some input for songs from you:D

His voice wasn't SHOT on the magic tour. Just a couple dates were weak (2nd wembley, Zurich, Newcastle, etc). The first few gigs, and quite a few others were awesome (Stockholm, Leiden, Brussels, Cologne, Vienna Budapest, Barcelona, etc).

That being said, Paul does sing WATC well.

Hope I won't be shot down...

I like the 1991 remix of the (1991 Hollywood Records CD reissue) very much!

Other opinions about that remix?

Yeah, the singer with the moustache. Not the one who sang the Mama-song.

I like this remix, too.

As for a good live version, the Milton Keynes performance is pretty good. The version which appears on Greatest Hits: We Will Rock Rock Edition is a good stand-alone cut of the MK live version.

Freddy ???

yea,  kind of tells you what kind of queen fans visit this site....don't even spell "freddy's" name right.  and i "hate" the way paul sings all of the queen songs Incuding We are the champions.   paul, brian, roger really ruined that one.  I guess 2 songs were pretty good.  tie your mother down and fat bottomed girls, but even those two songs he annoy's me.  Paul did sing his own songs great though.
