As many of you might know I used to be a bootleg trader. But I have been out of the business for about 6 years now. Since 2003/2004 a lot of things happened, internet got much and much faster, stuff like torrent started to emerge and sharing and collecting got bigger and faster.
I used to have about 200 shows of Queen, but I only listened to a couple of them. I couldn't listen to those bad audience recordings, but I had to have them. I just had to have it! (I guess otherwise, I woudn't feel like a real fan).
I was wondering if anyone who still is active in the bootleg world and knows what is out there could compile a list of the best bootlegs of every tour (About 1 or 2 bootlegs per tour). I'm not looking for the best perfromance, but the best compromise between sound quality and performance. I don't care if it's the best performance of a song when the sound quality is painful to listen to.
For example, that Boston '76 bootleg was great, the soundquality was so outstanding, and the performance was good aswell, which makes it a treat to listen to.
I think many other people who like to have a couple of bootlegs but don't want to filter out all the horrible recordings out there.
Thanks

Someone should compile a set of each tour with the best quality full show + tracks performed at other shows added as an extra disc. I don't want 20 Hot Space show - just 1 plus the tracks performed during that tour, but not at the best sounding gig. So - who's going to do that? :D
