I must say that Queen was truly fantastic in 1976. Great recordings like this show that the band sounds like no other rock band does. That's what makes a truly great rock band, by the way.
I know Freddie's voice is not in good shape but I must say I adore his singing in the rock'n roll medley and it's always a joy to hear him trying to make up for his very evident shortcomings;-)
Liar is spectacular as always:-) Nice to hear Freddie nail the piano intro to LOASA!
Those recent 1976 recordings (Boston and this one) really show us how fantastic John and Roger sounded together. Roger's drumming was so much better than in later years, wasn't it?

For sure. Yeah, while Freddie's voice isn't too great at this show (still better than most other rock singers anyway), the band and vocal harmonies are just spot on. As clearly evidenced in recordings like this, they really were an amazing band.

Oh god, I'm just listening to it and Roger's drum solo in KYA is absolutely fantastic !

Oh yeah, their harmonies are amazing. It's great to have recordings where all band members can be clearly heard. The 3 of them together produce a wonderful sound.
A pity they didn't pay as much attention to it anymore in the later years because it's one of the things that made them stand out among others (how many drummers are there with a voice like Rog?!?!).

Grazie Milla Bootluca!
Great audience recording... a pity that Freddie's voice is totaly distroyed by performing 2 shows on the same day. Anyway as always he gives it all and that what's make him the best performer of all times.
Hopefully there will some more Japanese concerts available in the same quality... for example Budokan 01/04/1976???

Mr. Peach recorded Rainbow several times during one tour. Let's hope he did the same with Queen...
Of course, it'd be more than fantastic if he only recorded them during every Japanese tour in the period '75-'82.
Don't think he was still recording in 1985, unless more recent tapes can prove the opposite of course.

I totally agree. No other band like Queen had a perfect rapport !!! The vocal harmonies with Freddie, Brian and Roger are fantastic and have always been one of the highlights of the band !!!! Each show is different, therefore, gives a lot like collecting bootlegs of them, is not it ?
and Roger... Yeah, pure true, he's powerfull drummer with the underrated most incredible voice !!!
