Hi there, guys!
I watched the Seth Rogan film "Observe And Report" last night and was pleasently surprised to see one of my favourite Queen songs being played, "It's Late".
What I would like to know, is that are there any alternative versions of this great song, as the song in the film sounded a little different?
I am not talking about the way the song was cut, edited and spliced together, as this was obvioulsy done purely for the scene that the song was in and was only required for about 2 minutes but it sounds very raw, not as polished as the album version.
Any help would be appreciated, guys.

No, its too flawless for it to be from the BBC sessions...

Is there any clip of that part of the movie online? I haven't seen it.
What context is the song played? Are the lyrics related to any part of the plot or particular scene?

I think it's just a different mix, but it's quite interesting to listen to.
The first two scenes in this clip feature It's Late and The Hero respectively. The Hero sounds the same to me.

It's Late is just a cut 'n' paste job of the album version, sped up a bit for some reason.

Ya SirGH is right. It is just sped up which brings the pitch a semitone to high.
But I didn't know it was is in the film. Is it in the original theatrical version?
