Which performance are you referring to?
"There are three kinds of people: those who can count, and those who can't."
John flubs a note in the first chorus, but he fixes it.

In terms of Freddie's vocals, nothing can top this!

Yeah.. Freddie is pretty squeaky clean here.  Amazing stuff.

Pre-smoking, and the fact that it's still early in the tour!

You think this tops the 2nd Newcastle's version?

I haven't compared them side to side, and just recall the second night to be more or less just as good.  I just happily contend that this was probably FM's best tour, and call it a day.

Oh for sure! The Crazy Tour was the best!

Does he hit that last high note before the last "I'm naked and I'm far from home"? I never heard him hit that note he always sung it lower
In fact, he does hit that note!

He hits it on all the Crazy Tour shows, and a few of the 1980 shows!

no, no, you didn't get me right, I was talking about that note at the end of the song: Save me, save me, OOOOOOOOOH, I'm naked and I'm far from home" - I never heard him hitting that note, he always sung it lower
He's always hit that B4 live during those shows. On the record he sustains it. During live shows, he would hit it, then drop it to A4.

yeah, that's what I was talking about, thanks ;-)
NOT Kerry Ellis' version, that's for sure.
I like her voice, but she's massacred "Save Me" :((
Her version was OVER-SUNG to death.
