This is an interesting topic. Essentially you're asking what are our favourites of the guys solo work, (that haven't been 'upgraded' to Queen recordings).
I'd plump for:
1) Love kills 2) Top of the world ma 3) Driven by you 4) Living on my own 5) Love lives bleeding 6) Man on fire 7) It's only make believe
8) New dark ages 9) Strange frontier 10) Touch the sky 11) No more fun 12) Where are you now 13) Business 14) Hand of fools 15) Life changes
I'm not sure how well that would hang together as an album. As usual I probably haven't picked enough 'slowies'!

In a way, yes, but also curious what we think might have worked as an album. A "Best of" solo collection with tracks from the four of them might not work on the same level of cohesiveness as, say, The Game or Queen II or A Night At The Opera. Very few albums by any artists are merely hit after hit after. However, you're correct that not every "favourite" is a "hit".

Too bad, a Lost (tv show) Queen album would be awesome.

Yeah... . I don't watch Lost.
Never saw an episode.
Never really cared.
I'm glad it's over because people no longer say, "Dude you should watch Lost, it's freakin' awesome!"

agreed....
and as for my "lost Queen album", I never got into solo Roger stuff, so i can't speak to any of that... BUT... without getting into a concept, or trying to create an album - just looking among the best Queen-adaptable material that I WISH had been worked on by the four... it would have to include:
Love Kills (rock mix) Business Why Don't We Try Again
there's more, but those tracks come to mind....

My two 'Lost' albums...
WRITTEN IN THE STARS (Works group pic with black starry backdrop)
Made In Heaven (ext version) Let Me Out She Blows Hot and Cold (Brian lead guitar or ext version) Your Kind of Lover (Solo Collection)
It's An Illusion Man Made Paradise There Must Be More To Life Than This My Love Is Dangerous Love Me Like There's No Tomorrow (ext version) *************
the ever evolving, but holding steady after fiver years.... 'HORIZONS'....(cover art of a Montreaux sunset)
The Dark (minus vocal intro) Time (TGP remix) Driven By You (or 'Business') She Blows Hot and Cold (or You Don't Fool Me, since it's not on my MIH version) London Town
It's a Beautiful Day (45 edit).... (or The Great Pretender remix) I Can't Live With You (Rocks remake) (Love Token inst fadeout) Resurrection In My Defence (TGP remix) Last Horizon
Some of MY favorites are not included here. Some solo tracks appear as replacements on my Queen albums. Others just don't work due to the flow or the sound mixing. We love 'Manipulator', 'Power To Love', BTTL, Barcelona, Guide Me Home/How Can I Go On', Touch The Sky ....etc......they just don't work, or fit, on what we want as a 'Queen' album, or we need a Freddie vocal intersperced throughout.....Love Kills and others ....well......they don't work or we don't like the synth crap........blah blah blah
There are always five seconds of silence between sides one and two.....just like when we had to flip the vinyl over, if you were really fast.
If these don't entirely fit the bill, as Lennon said whilst asking for an overdub during the 'Get Back' sessions, "You scoundrel, you cheat."

Goodco, you could just use the Single Version of "Resurrection" as well, then you wouldn't get the segue from "Love Token" (unless you want it there).

to rhyeking:
The instrumental is intentional (a holdover from previous versions).
With zero time gap, and volume up, it's a good follow up and segue.
btw.....thanks for the comment and the fact that you read my post.

I read every post of the threads I'm interested in, particularly the ones I started!
And yours was a good selection, by the way.
