I started this thread, because I feel the Magic Tour gets a bit underrated, and (sometimes) unnecessarily criticized:
What is your favorite gig on this tour, and what are your favorite performances?
I myself LOVE the 1st Leiden show (it's my personal favorite 1986 gig), and some of my favorite performances on the Magic Tour come from that gig (A Kind Of Magic, Who Wants To Live Forever, Bohemian Rhapsody, etc).
Thoughts?

Personally I always favoured the Budapest show. I especially liked that Freddie and Brian learned Tavaski Szel. What other shows did they learn a song from the country they were performing in for?

Budapest is awesome: Easily one of the best post-Wembley shows!

Toss up for Budapest and Knebworth for me. Both of those shows from what I've heard so far are just nothing short of stellar.

I have seen clips of budapest and knebworth and a bit of slane castle but not much else
i might have to invest in a video player and get Budapest on video!!!

I seen bits of a lot of shows, but wondering how you guy's get all these shows in full?.....what do you guy's do spend lots of money on bootlegs and watch every single show?......Wembley was a great show, but of course many are better from that tour. Freddie's voice was hit or miss that night. Though as a performer he was larger than life. Some complain about Wembley on this site, but everybody I show that concert to loves it, and think they sound great. these are average rock fans who like, but don't love queen. They sure do get a kick out of freddie, and amazed at the voice and the performance. The hardcore fans are the one who bitch and moan that he wasn't very good.
