The brand of the shoe is 'Adidas' and the style of the shoe would be 'boxing shoe' or 'boxing boot'.  Some vintage listings include references to 'Rocky' or 'Stallone' because they were popularized in part through the 'Rocky' movies. You can try just looking for regular high tops too. Good luck! :)

They are not boxing shoes.
In those days it was cool to wear these basketball shoes. I owned some pairs made by Nike. Adidas was the brand we had to wear during gymnastics at school...so it wasn't cool to wear on the street.
Nowadays they're called vintage....

Here's a bunch...at least you'll get a sense of what's out there.  As the above poster says you can also try searching on 'basketball shoes" as they are more that than boxing shoes.  I used the term "high tops": http://shop.ebay.com/?_from=R40&_trksid=p3907.m570.l1313&_nkw=adidas+high+tops&_sacat=See-All-Categories I had a pair of pink ones in 1979 or so that I think I wore twice.  They made me feel clumsy and like my feet were size 12.

Hi ola.  Since the others have answered your question about Roger's Adidas, I hope you don't mind if I post this.  You mentioned your English, so I'm guessing that you are studying/have studied English.  I know this isn't what you're asking, but "Shoes of Roger Taylor" = "Roger Taylor's shoes".    : )

Mialem pare rózowych nich w 1979 roku lub tak ze mysle, ze mialam na sobie dwa razy . Ze czuje sie jak niezdarny i nogi byly wielkosci 12 .
