Side "70's"

Keep Yourself Alive
White Queen (As it began)
Bohemian Rhapsody
Brighton Rock
I'm In Love With My Car
The Prophet's song

Side ª80's & 90's"
One Vision
Radio Ga Ga
Under Pressure
I Want It All
Innuendo
The Show Must Go On

Ok, it's very difficult to chose 12 songs between 128. So, if you let me add 6 songs more, I chose for another side called "No the best but funny and interesting songs" these other:
-Bijou
-It's Late
-Let Me Live
-I Want To Break Free
-Tie Your Mother Down
-Surf's up... school's out! (yes, I know... it's a Queen+PR song, but I think it's great, so I would like to put it in a record... anyways, it's  in the bottom a Roger's song)

As you can see, my track list is quite rocker. The worst thing that Queen had, has, and will have is its best quality... the albums are all different between them, and even their track lists have a roller coaster of styles, so there will be a lot of "bests albums" because there're fans more rocker than others.

Sorry for my bad english :P

great topic, but i think the idea should be to pick a period of queen and set up a perfect album had they collected enough great songs to make up the *perfect album*... this shouldn't span more than 3 albums, anymore than that, we're looking at a greatest hits....

Hot Space, The Works and A Kind Of Magic ...  three relatively weak albums compared to the rest of the cannon... if Queen went on hiatus after 1980, and came back in 1986 with the album "One Vision" this is what it would be like (assuming they didn't take a full break and decided to shelve Hot Space and The Works just before releasing them, to a later date....and they would have released a full soundtrack for A Kind Of Magic, rather than a half album/half soundtrack a la A Hard Day's Night)

One Vision (1986) [Album Version]
[Cover of Album would be the One Vision single sleeve]

Side A
1. A Kind Of Magic (86)
2. Under Pressure (81)
3. Radio Ga Ga (84)
4. I Want To Break Free (84)
5. Friends Will Be Friends (86)

Side B
1. A Hard Life (84)
2. Hammer To Fall (84)
3. Who Wants To Live Forever (86)
4. One Vision (85)

One Vision (1986) [12 Song Version]

1. A Kind Of Magic (86)
2. Under Pressure (81)
3. Radio Ga Ga (84)
4. I Want To Break Free (84)
5. Las Parablas de Amor (82)
6. Friends Will Be Friends (86)

Side B
1. Staying Power (82)
2. Hammer To Fall (84)

The point was to have some tracks from the '80s and '90s (not only the '70s).
I understand your concern, but I really like those songs too.

But of course; you can change them with: Ogre Battle, Great King Rat, The Millionaire Waltz and Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy : )
