New here by the way....

Just wondering, anyone that attended the magic tour and that was front row, particularly Wembley and Knebworth, how in god's name did you see over that stage?? could you see anything??? the size of it, although impressive was ridiculous, you couldnt see over it!!..im on about the front of it now, the catwalk so to speak....its only a small matter but god its bugged me since i was a kid

There was a significant distance between the front of the stage and the barrier which separated the front row from the stage; security, health and safety and common sense determined that given the height of the stage.  This also allowed the press to safely photograph the first few songs withour impeeding the view of those at the front.  The stage height enabled people at the back seeing the band as opposed to "watching TV".
