Johnny Quale & The Reaction

Okay, I'm wee bit confused by dates.

The Queen Concertography site and Queen: The Early Years both have Johnny Quale leaving The Reaction in the autumn of 1965. Before that, according to The Early Years, JQ&TR (with Roger as a member) recorded "a demo disc" at a cinema in Wadebridge, by a primitive mobile studio. Johnny Quale, quoted in the book, says a dozen discs were made of this session, but has no idea what happened to them. Shortly after, JQ left.

Now, Record Collector mag, Feb. 2000, lists the follow Reaction acetates, dated 1966.

2. I Got You / In The Midnight Hour

How is Johnny Quale to be credited on a 1966 recording when he left in late 1965?

Which piece of information is flawed?

Both pieces of information are correct. Johnny Quale left The Reaction in 1965, but a year later he asked them to back him in a recording sessions, hence the 1966 acetate.
