We had to use 'Queen' Talks as it was the only track to use......we couldn't use 'KYA', 'BL', 'NIH', LPDA' or 'FBG'.

But then again, and we can argue about this until the cows come home, that's rather unfair to the targeted customers (read = US) to bend the rule to include QT, but not Lost Opportunity or Mad The Swine at the same time.
And quite a lot of us as you know by know are quite pissed about that, no matter which way you spin it Gary.

Will that be the single version of It's A Beautiful Day on that collection ?

Will there be difference between the Knebwoth Mix and Live At Knebworth ? Will they miss the Freddie Singalong Intro out ?
In that case I think they should have also included the video on the disc, that way they would have reproduced the original cd single.

I bought the first 3 single collections in order to replace mostly vinyl and some cd singles in my collection but I'm not sure if I'll buy this one.  I guess My Melancholy Blues Live is the most missed track in most collection. That one missing is the most annoying. I just got it from the AG Live material in 320 kbp mp3, that's good (IMO more listenable than vinyl), although I'd prefer a real cd a lot.

Gary, here are my thoughts, looking at this as someone with no vested interest in this set.

Part of the frustration is after it became clear that the set wasn't going to be the mighty collection of rare alternate versions expected and hoped for, the fans still expressing interest took some comfort knowing the effort was being made to at least include non-album tracks ("Soul Brother," "A Human Body," etc). It seemed a big selling point by QPL that Volume 3 had quite a few such tracks, with "Thank God It's Christmas," "Forever," "Hang On In There," "Hijack My Heart," "Stealin'," "My Life Has Been Saved".

So, I think fans can be forgiven in thinking that the last box would include a few more: "My Melancholy Blues (Live)," "Lost Opportunity," "Mad The Swine," "My Fairy King (BBC)," "Doing Alright (BBC)," "Liar (BBC)". The disappointment is, with Vol. 4 having an emphasis seemingly solely on "get as many hits as possible in there", including BoRhap again, what has sent many into frustrating bouts of banging their heads against the wall.
