They have a point. Remember Brian's curse? http://www.queenzone.com/forums/422929/brians-curse.aspx?page=1

I saw this a few weeks ago. Biggest sin of this blog is that it's only very occasionally funny. You have to wade through a lot of rather mean spirited tedium to hit something that's actually clever. Kind of like getting through a Greg Brooks post.

I think they deserve an award for accusing Brian of being a Freemason. Anyone who takes a site seriously after reading the words 'freemason', 'new world order' or 'rothschild' deserves to be offended... and fucked with a shovel.

I'm pretty sure it's meant to be a joke...I saw it on BoingBoing and the consensus was that it's meant to take the piss. I do think it's funny coz I'm like that but it's scary crazy though.

There were funny/clever bits? I read through a bit of it, but other than the mean spirited stuff, everything else struck me as just plain stupid. I don't like it, and I can't imagine that I'll be returning to it any time soon.

Tell me Zeb, before I ask any stupid questions, do I want to know how you think of these things?

I think it's just an overreaction brought about by my deep-seated contempt for stupid people.

I thought there were flashes of brilliance. But you can't effectively use what would have been a good one post joke as a big, dumb rambling theme, or five posts of the same thing worked out over five different animals or whatever.
Don't get me wrong. If satire was ever meant for anything it was meant for a guy like Brian, who is wonderful yet kind of crazy. It's just that if it gets too mean or too grinding it becomes less funny for me. Especially these days, because in some ways at some times he really does seem genuninely scattered and unhappy when he writes and speaks and makes appearances. I half keep waiting for some shoe to drop.
