Favourite Queen & Solo Lyrics

Just thinking about some of the most poetic or well-crafted lyrics the band have come up with over the years.

My favourites:

In a Queen song:
Now I'm Here: "A thin moon, me and the smoke-screen sky, where beams of your love light chase; Don't move, don't speak, don't feel no pain with the rain runnin' down my face"

Freddie:
How Can I Go On: "When all the salt is taken from the sea, I stand dethroned, I'm naked and I bleed; And when your finger points so solidly, is anybody there to believe in me, to hear my plea and take care of me?"

Brian:
"Too much love will kill you, just as sure as none at all; It'll drain the power that's in you; Make you plead and scream and crawl"

Roger:
Abandonfire: "Abandon hope who enter here, land of hopelessness and fear; a band of gypsies, a band of gold...won't save your hide, won't save your soul"

John (not much to pick from, so I'm including another Queen track:
You and I: "Music is playing in the darkness and the lantern goes swinging by; Shadows flickering, my heart's jittering; Just you and I"

Good choice of lyrics.

As for me, I saw myself in these lyrics of Radio Ga Ga and it was the very first song that brought me to Queen:  

I'd sit alone and watch your light
My only friend through teenage nights
And everything I had to know
I heard it on my radio.

Those were the pre-internet days and of course I heard the song from the radio.
