Though I can appreciate that poor spelling and grammar can make posts difficult to read, I personally find the spelling and grammar police on any given forum far more tedious.  Certainly you understood what she meant, and most of us can see that the spelling is poor, so for me comments like this are gratuitous and small.  While there is value for lifetimefanofqueen and other young poor spellers to understand that they may be treated differently in life and even lose opportunities over their lack of skills, surely there is equal value in grown adults in a position to influence these kids seeing if they can get beyond the syntax and respond to the ideas behind them.  This thread is not the best example, and there have been other rather notable fails, but people who are on this kid about content really need to get a bit more empirical.  She's started many topics that have been fresh and creative and generated interesting or fun conversations.  Certainly much more so than some of the noisiest posters behaving badly who have piled on to bully her.

I have a Turkish bloke who lives in our spare room and does my gardening.  Does that count as a pet?

I agree, one should focus on content rather than on grammar, but in a post where people attack others for being Russian or homosexual or whatever, I didn't think anyone would take offence at me being a grammar geek.

Anyway, it's nothing personal against lifetimefanofqueen. She starts topics and gives her opinions in many others, but it's also true that once, when someone advised her to improve her writing skills, her reply was like "if you don't like it go to hell, this is how I write and I'm not going to change it". Someone wanted to help her improve in order that her opinions were more respected, but she didn't care. But it's ok, she'll eventually grow up.

Try working on it.  It really is so sad to see so many stupid things being written on QZ.  It really is both pointless and pathetic, and is the reason why so many folk are just pissing off.  At the end of it all, this will just be a playing ground for retards.

Sarcasm, my friend. I frankly don't give two flying fucks if people leave this site because they don't like what they see. I won't be missing them. This place has pretty much been dead for the past two years or more anyway.

i did say i was sorry, sometimes i cant tell the difference between help, a joke or bulling,
as ive said before, its all part of aspergers, (which i am interested in since i got diagnosed with it and some of my friends have it to)
so im sorry if at times i seem to take things to seriously, it just seems as soon as i let my guard down and trust people it gets shot back in my face,
greatfulfan and lostman i trust  because they understand me. as I've said before i just want to be friends.

So because you think it's dead, that's license for you to talk down to people whichever way you like and contribute towards turning the salvagable remnants of the place into a damn playground?  I'm not saying it's just you, and although this is a response to your post, it's nothing personal - it just happens that you were the first to respond to my "grow up" line.  You seem like someone who I can speak like an adult with, so why, if you can't stand the kiddies so much, just let their topics go over your head instead of adding fuel to the fire?  It's all pretty simple, "my friend".

It's not that I Can't Stand The Kiddies So Much, I just like to mess with them at times. I don't come on here often anymore at all - I only started posting again in the past week because of this Valery Oganov character and his laughable, expletive-laden threats. Within the next couple days I'll slip back away and the Real World will suck me back in and I'll be away for eight months and this site will be all better. So, again, I don't really care about the things I do and say on here anymore, as terribly awfully horrible as that may sound.

That's fair enough, but can I ask one small thing before you go?  Does he threaten you directly?  I'm not saying that sort of behaviour is acceptable or tolerable, but if he does, does he do it after you've slagged him or Julia over something? Just wondering if perhaps you're antagonising them just a little too much....and if that's the case, why?  I can't stress enough how lame it all looks, and you're only dragging yourself into that category.  Childish is good sometimes, but in a fun way.  Using it to score points or put someone down is not actually childish, it's moronic.  I love QZ and it's a great form of escapism from the day-to-day humdrum - and whether or not you think it's dead, there are loads of great guys here that offer great information, chat, opinions and a laugh in the process. It's a shame to see it all go to waste because of the "I don't give a fuck" mentality.

I haven't put anyone down, so I truly don't know what you're talking about. Back in September the girl posted about three pointless threads a day and I, like many other people, told her to get a damn blog and stop polluting the board with nonsensical threads full of childish yammering ("soo what have you done today?" imagine that, every day, and a new thread each time). She, being an overly sensitive 12 year old, took it personally and thought she was being "bullied." Go back and read the threads yourself if you'd like. However, the operative word in my story is SEPTEMBER, which is why when this Lostman fellow decided he'd come bursting in six months after the incident with guns a-blazin' and curse words a-flyin', I found it pretty humorous and stuck around to entertain his idiocy. But it got boring after about 24 hours, and what do you know? The "conflict" is over and everyone involved has moved on because it was retarded to begin with.

I'm not saying you're putting folk down - I'm just stating that as you're the one who has openly admitted you like "messing with them", perhaps you've messed too much and that's why you're getting abuse back.  As I say, it's not really acceptable, but  even though you say you got bored with it, here you are, months later, helping to keep it going.  It's dragging the whole place down mate, and you're part of it.  If you think they're laughable, fair enough, but is there really a need to light the fuse and run away? I can see your point RE the inane threads, really I can - but at the end of the day it can easily be ignored.  Instead, they are being hunted down for absolutely everything they do, and it's the same culprits each time.  That's what really spams the board.

I know how all this started, I remember it well. But at the end of the day, we might as well tell everyone here to get a blog to air their opinions, or just scrap the whole "personal" forum altogether.....

I didn't know you have Asperger's, and I apologize if I offended you.  I'm not a bully, I'm here to have to fun.

Sergei, I don't know but you probably think that I stopped all that quarrel because I didn't see what happened later. But no, I saw all and I still see how you keep on saying shit about me behind my back while I've already apologized. I just stopped it because it had become totally idiotic.

Thistleboy 1980, thank you very much for sticking up for us but talking to Sergei doesn't help and it gives you no sense and in the end it'll lead into another quarrel where he'll start saying shit about you too... just like he does with all here. It's just the way he is...
