Is this what you are asking for :

http://www.queenzone.com/forum/963825/repost-hannover-22-september-1984-flac.aspx

Edit:  Sorry, it says first gen but somewhere down in the posts someone said it was 2nd gen.

In order to confirm the tape generation, there must have been direct contact with the taper not too far down the line.  Who originally shared the copy with this lineage?

See Thomas Quinn's post in this page:

I believe that the link you refer is the 2nd gent tape so I believe that a little best (1st gen) exist and there are a bit difference with the time (the correct speed  by gregsynth remaster is around 80 mn or the 1st gen is said to be around 83 mn)

maybe I'm wrong with everything I said lol
(sorry for my bad english)

TCC -

Thanks for the link.

Vivaqueen - indeed, a first gen copy and the master probably exist somewhere.  The only way a first gen copy doesn't exist is if it was destroyed.  A first gen copy likely means it was received directly from the taper.  But it's impossible to know about what speed the better copies run at.  It has little relation to worse copies, because anything could have been done to them down the line.

Thank to all of you for your explanation, I know now that the version share on queenzone(with correction of the pitch/speed) is the best we have for the moment
