Does anyone noticed completely different intro speech to Stone Cold Crazy? So the Video & Audio of this track on Official release is from the first night 19/11/74 or maybe a mixture?

The intro speech to Stone Cold Crazy is indeed different than on the official release. They probably used the speech from the first night. All those mixes and overdubs etc.. a complete uncut tape from any night would be perfect!

That's gotta be the best version of "Son And Daughter" I ever heard... Love the "extended" finale, I don't think that is reproduced on the Rainbow vhs (?)

Yes, it is. Son And Daughter - the official VHS tape only removed the second verse  (probably because it was repeated after Brian's solo), the rest is the same. There is also a VERY bad cut on the VHS, I don't understand how could it get to an official release - after "something we used to do a long long time back" you can HEAR Freddie saying "no, no, it's not liar" but you can SEE AND HEAR him at the same time saying "this is called Son And Daughter". If you never noticed it, it's in the right beginning of the song. Also during Roger's part before Brian's solo the video is completely out of sync with the audio, but it's very hard to see on this low quality capture : Stone Cold Crazy - the speech on the official VHS comes from the first (?) night. It is a commonly accepted fact that the officially released tape includes a mixture of both nights, and on some places the video comes from a different night than the audio ! A good example of this is In The Lap Of The Gods Check the part where Roger sings his high notes - the video is COMPLETELY out of sync with the audio - I really don't understand why they decided NOT to use video and audio from the same night Liar - Does anybody know why they edited it so badly on the VHS ? I mean did they try to recreate the American single ? BTW thanks Bob for the reupload, I planned to do it for my "1974" thread if it happens :-)

The song didn't differ much from night to night, so this wasn't the issue.  It's a completely man-made flaw, as the music and visual are just not synched properly.  If you watch Roger's snare, it's a beat off !

Dare I say.. some of the edits on this video are worse than Rare Live.
