Yes, I know what you're thinking, Get A Life instead of stopping in on a Saturday night and watching X Factor. When you get to a certain age, genes kick in that prevent you from going out after teatime on Saturday, so bear with me.
Are you watching X Factor? If so, is it just me, or does there seem to be more blatant attempts by the judges, this year, to get certain acts through, at the expense of better singers? Katy can't sing properly with such a weak voice. Cher can't sing full stop. When I watched her on Saturday, I found her embarrassing to watch, she sounded out of tune to me. Yet Cheryl Cole is adamant that they are wonderful. And Simon is determined to get One Direction through, even though they look like a bunch of pre-pubescent lads who've just been thrown out of a geography lesson. And they can't sing very well, either! At times on the last 2 progs, I've been convinced that the judges have been listening to a different set of people.
What do Queenzoners think?

i was channel hopping after watching Merlin on the beeb [much better prog than crap-factor] just as some out of tune twat was murdering Lennon's Jealous Guy,it was painful beyond belief and i quickly channel-hopped to CH4. i only know whats going on via the genius of Mr Harry Hill's tv burp or Pirate FM due to the fact one of the girls in Belle Amie is from Cornwall

1 The guy who murdered Jealous Guy got through on a sympathy vote. Fact is, he was shit along with a lot of the other "acts".
2 Shows like X Factor, Pop Idol, Britains Got The Mentally Challenged (title knicked from the Wright Stuff) American Idol, etc are only ever about the judges.

its understandable,
and half and half realy, i sometimes watch it and sometimes dont, usualy when im doin homework i sit in the front room
(cus i hate bein in my room alone)
and moms watchin x factor, and i just have a listen, watch a bit when ive done the work, and yeah,
i think the judges get weirder and weirder every year, and yea they are trying to get sertain groups through, i dont usualy like x factor, i just have to live with it
how ever
last year when they had that Queen night where they all sang Queen, well, u can imagine, i actualy sat and watched it interested in every act! egsept jedward, what they did to under pressure was just wrong big time!
speakin of jedward, that also shows they only try to get acts like personaly like,
lewie (how ever u spell it) he always goes for one act and sticks with them, and if their from irealnd, hes in love with them, mainly cas they are from the same place as he is
so yeah, they do get the acts they like through, not what the rest of the world like, but idk, i dont realy watch it like REALY obsesivly, obsessive dosent realy come into it, i dont like all the pop pricks that go on the show and think their all this and all that ( i say pop pricks, if u like pop from the 60's 70's and 80's thats ok, its just modern pop, like justin bieber, miley cyrus, JLS, ke$sha and all that shit, its dofferent to the kind from back when music was real)

Yes, the Queen night last year was brilliant. I do like Joe Mcelderry though. And Ray Quinn was far too good for Crap-Factor. Oh no! Who called it Crap-Factor? I'll be calling it Crap-Factor from now on. I've already stopped watching Britain's Got (No) Talent. I saw part of the semi-final and couldn't believe someone was in it CHOPPING WOOD!!!!!!!!!

I honestly don't think not going out is a valid excuse for watching X Factor. I mean this in much the same way that being in Mexico isn't in itself a valid excuse for wiping out your neighbors' garden party with machetes. If those neighbors happened to be watching X Factor at the time, though, that would make it an entirely different story all together...
